One Hundred Year Old Display Cabinet for Antique Woodworking Tools
A gentlemen on one of the Facebook Stanley Tool groups recently posted some pictures about a wooden display cabinet that he used to display part of his tool collection. I thought I’d share what I do.

I have quite a collection of antique woodworking tools, and most of them I keep out in my garage because there just isn’t enough space in the house. I was in a second hand furniture store several years ago and ran across this old oak and glass display cabinet. The owner told me that it came from an old general store or pharmacy display.

The cabinet isn’t very deep so it doesn’t hold a lot of tools, but it look pretty cool when it’s filled with some of my better tools. The top has three adjustable shelves and two sliding glass doors. The bottom part is deeper, had one shelf and two sliding oak doors.

Here are some pics and a video of the storage cabinet. I think having a hundred year old display cabinet is a pretty good way to store hundred year old woodworking tools.
